Interested in joining the lab?
Undergraduates and prospective graduate researchers who are interested in applied mechanical engineering research are encouraged to reach out. If you’d like to learn more about current projects or potential opportunities, please contact Dr. Jeff Hill at jeff.hill@byu.edu or schedule a lab tour.
When reaching out, it can be helpful to include:
- Your major and current academic level (e.g., undergraduate, master’s, PhD)
- A brief description of your interests in mechanical engineering or the lab’s research areas
- Any relevant experience (coursework, projects, programming, fabrication, or experimental work)
- Your availability and when you are hoping to get involved
None of these are required, but they help us better understand your interests and how you might fit into ongoing work.
